The Rock A Nore Kitchen is set within the heart of the old town fishing village in Hastings, East Sussex. Formaly known as the Tan House it dates back some 200 years as a building and was where fishing nets were waterproofed using the age old process of tanning. Opened since 2014 the kitchen has grown in reputation by providing locally caught fish dishes using its "boat to plate" philosophy. Recommend by both the Guardian and London Evening Standart as a must visit for expertly cooked local catch of the day.
